Reese's Puffs Rap

"Reese's Puffs Rap" is a concept based on a rap song made to advertise the Reese's Puffs cereal. It also is a major meme on the VvvvvaVvvvvvr channel.

There are two known cases where a song was made for a Reese's Puffs advertisement:

RV & Terrance's rap[]

RV & Terrance's rap originates from a 2009 Reese's advertisement where the Reese's Puffs cereal brings a concert to a child's house. On 2010, a year after its release, YouTube user TajhMusic uploaded an extended version of the advertisement under the title "Reese's Puffs Rap Video ft Tajh Bellow".

RV & Terrance's "Reese's Puffs Rap" would pass unnoticed on the internet until December 2014: The BandCamp account "Sean Phoenix the Sultan of Slams" released its first album, Reese's Puffs Core. Reese's Puffs Core consisted of a collection of mashups between various songs and RV & Terrance's rap. All of the contributors for the album are SoundCloud artists (the most notables being Cryptrik and MF PICKLE-O, who later went to contribute to GiIvaSunner). It is generally considered that Reese's Puffs Core started the popularity of RV & Terrance's rap on the internet, this is due to the fact that the album gained fame on SoundCloud and eventually, starting on 2015, its popularity spread outside SoundCloud.

William Lupo's rap[]

On the year of 2014 another Reese's Puffs rap advertisement was created. In this time the rap was performed by rapper William Lupo and the advertisement had the same core concept of the previous RV & Terrance one, however, this one was executed distinctly: The advertisement directly showed the good characteristics of Reese's Puffs instead of making a set-up scenario for the rap to appear. Although the commercial also got its popularity, it didn't achieve the popularity that RV & Terrance's rap got.

The most notable use of "Reese's Puffs Rap" in the VvvvvaVvvvvvr channel is the parody series Puffstale, a mix between Undertale and "Reese's Puffs Rap". Outside of Puffstale, "Reese's Puffs Rap" was a prominent meme during Chapter 1, mainly being incorporated through mashups and medley rips.

When it came to characterizing "Reese's Puffs Rap" on lore videos, William Lupo (and, by extension, Puffstale) was used to represent the meme. William Lupo was one of VvvvvaVvvvvvr's best friends and played an important role on the Totally Not Lore Crisis and Ends Here, Ends Now series.
