Sam I Am is a character from the Dr. Suess book, Green Eggs & Ham. On VvvvvaVvvvvvr, he appears as a villain from the Joyless ending of the Reboot. He is an enigmatic character, being one of the few who didn't reappear for Ends Here, Ends Now.
The reason for his appearance seems to be related to a fake game on the channel, Sam I Am's Rippapolooza, which has rips sampling Sam's voice from Living Books PC CD-Rom Green Eggs & Hams game. There were four rips of it in April 2017. Then, there were four more rips of it during the Joyless takeover event in January 2018. And finally, since a Green Eggs & Ham show was made on Netflix in November 2019, one more Sam I Am rip was made (albeit with his name correctly punctuated as "Sam-I-Am"), a month later.
